As the opposite of a Git power user, the only thing I’m looking for out of a Git client is for it to be as easy to use as possible. Tower has fulfilled that requirement well ever since I started using it back in 2016. Managing branches, pull requests and file conflicts is a piece of cake through the intuitive interface. Branches can be merged through drag and drop, changes (including commits) undone through Cmd + Z, commits cherry-picked, and more.
It’s a well designed and well supported piece of software that has been with me through projects big and small. Definitely worth the yearly cost of $69.
