1Password Review

I’ve been a user of 1Password for so long now that it’s difficult to remember a time before it. For over ten years, I’ve used it to keep track of all of my account logins, pin codes, credit cards, banking info, servers, databases, and more. I’m up to a grand total of 1 393 items in my personal vaults at time of writing, and I honestly can’t imagine life without 1Password at this point.

In 2024, Apple released their own take on a dedicated password management app in the form of the Passwords app. It’s a step in the right direction, but it’s limited to passwords only for now, so it’s not really an alternative to 1Password. It’s also exclusive to Apple platforms, obviously. During my brief time with a gaming PC, I appreciated having easy access to all of my passwords there as well.

1Password costs four to five dollars per month. It’s the last subscription I’ll cancel.
