A desk mat is a small quality of life improvement for your wrists, and quite a large one for the appearance of your desk. I’ve owned the Medium Plus size Grovemade Wool Desk Mat in light grey for a few years now, and it’s a nice option if you’re in the market for one. The wool still feels sturdy and premium after thousands of hours of use, and the little leather tab on the side with the Grovemade logo is a nice touch. I got it with the matching coaster set, but ended up using the desk mat itself for coffee cups and my Zojirushi thermos mug. I tell myself that the inevitable coffee stains add patina.
