Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite: The Siracusa Review

arstechnica.com →

Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite is out today. Should you get it? Of course you should. It adds a bunch of great functionality, a complete visual overhaul and, most importantly, it’s free. I’ve been running the public beta for months, and I couldn’t be happier with it.

If you want to know what you’re upgrading to, you should read John Siracusas annual Mac OS X review. It’s a beast as usual – 26 485 words of thoughtful commentary on the biggest visual change in Mac OS X since the release of Aqua in 2000. If you want to support Siracusa and his work, you can purchase the ebook version on either Kindle or iBookstore for $4.99. It’s well worth it.
