Lingonberry, my very first free WordPress theme (and still my favorite, on some days), is now available for free for the gazillion users on WordPress.com. It looks and functions pretty much the same as the WordPress.org version, with the exception of the navigation which isn’t hidden behind a hamburger icon on the WP.com version.
The timing of the release coincides nicely with the downloads counter on my themes archive, which just passed 400,000. Staring at numbers gets a little old as time goes on, but it’s still exciting every time the downloads counter reaches a big milestone. Onwards to half a million.
